This is so underrated it's upsetting, at the beginning the art is kind of rough but it gets way better as time goes on. But aside from the art, the story in this is so well thought out and the arcs the mc goes through is very well written. You can easily get sucked into this story. Please give it a shot

Its such a bliss reading it.... i love manhwas about revenge buut i like it more when mc changes sides to demonic ways from orthodox sects.... i would like if he at the end of his journey found wife a had kids... i like it when mc is cold-hearted and doesn't show mercy to his enemies... story is interesting maybe something like pet would make it fun :p

This is simply put amazing. It is one of, if not the, best cultivation/martial arts mangas I have ever read. It has an really good revenge plot with good pacing and it has really good time skips. The art is really good, even if it took some time for me to get used to it. The MCs character development is nice when it comes to personallity and thoughts but the developments of his powers is a little bit rough.

Next to Legend of the Northern Blade this manhua brightly shines among the best cultivation-like manhua. Do not stop with the art at the begining it becomes way better after some scans and is almost perfect. But this is not the only quality the plot is interesting nor too quick neither too slow the rythm is perfect and the revenge wich is the leading theme, do not blind the main character. Indeed the main character is smart and an hard worker. The more you read this work of art the more you want to know and the more stress seing the last scan arriving meaning at least a week waiting for a new update. But each period of waiting is worth considering the quality of the plot and the art.

Chronicles of Heavenly Demon is one of many martial arts stories where the MC gets reincarnated for the sole purpose of getting revenge. The most interesting aspect of this one is that the guy becomes a member of a "Demonic" cult in his second life, which at least gives it a bit of a twist.
